AIMEE TURNS 5!!

On June 16 Aimee turned 5! I can hardly believe she is 5 already! She had a birthday party with a few of her friends at my parents house! We had a great time at her party!

Gramma and Chloe when we went out for Aimee's birthday breakfast! (My mom always takes the girls out of breakfast on their birthday)

Aimee's butterfly cake

The girls painting their butterflies

It started to rain so we had to set up the butterfly house inside! This is one side of the house.

The other side of the butterfly house! Such a cute idea my mom had!

Blowing out her candles

Chloe dug into the cake all by herself! She picked off the flowers from the outside!

It stopped raining so the house got moved outside. The girls ate their cake in it!

Aimee and her friends!

Me and Aimes

The girls in their butterflies! The party was fabulous and we had a scavenger hunt and an egg on the spoon race as well! Aimee picked the games and the food (heart shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, veggies and dip, fruit, and cookies!). She is already talking about what she wants to do at her party next year! Makes me tired just thinking about it:)

ANSON'S BIRTHDAY

Anson spent a lot of time this summer travelling with a singing group from our college. He was home for a week in June, but I went away to New York City that week. I got back the night before his birthday and on the day of his birthday we had a wedding! The day after his birthday he left with the singing group again! So, after the wedding we celebrated by taking the girls to the park:) It was still a good day... Love you, Anson!!

TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY

My mom turned 50 way back in January! She decided that since she was 50 she was old enough to do what she wanted for her birthday:) So....she planned a trip to New York City with my aunt and some of her friends and she invited ME! We left bright and early on Tuesday morning and came home late Friday night! We had a great time....here are some pictures from the trip:)

Mom excited about her trip:)

Me and Mrs. Bartley on the way to the airport

Getting in our limo for our ride to our hotel:)

Mrs. Lindhorst and I in the limo

Our hotel!

All of us in our hotel lobby

First lunch in the city.....the pickles were very large:)

All of us in Central Park

Aunt Susan, Mom and I at Serendipity

My very large frozen hot chocolate that was SO SO good!

Rockefeller Centre

Mrs. Bartley and I in Times Square the next morning

Mom trying to get a better deal on her shoes! I think almost everyone bought shoes on this trip:)

In Macy's!

Eating at Olive Garden. Mom wasn't with us that night.....

Good ole Times Square!

Thought I'd get a really really really large ice cream.....I didn't eat too much and I felt so sick. Eyes are bigger than my stomach, I guess!!

On Thursday, Tina came into the city to meet me! We went to Canal Street for some Coach purses from inside a van:) It was so much fun to see her again!

After we got the purses, I got this guy to make a sign for Aimee for her birthday.

Then I made Tina walk across the Brooklyn Bridge! I know she really appreciated it:)

Tina had to leave at 3 to get back home so I dropped my stuff off at the hotel and went shopping by myself for a few hours! Everyone else was who knows where, and I didn't want to sit all alone at the hotel! I went to Trump Tower to get a starbucks so I took a picture of myself in the mirror going down the escalator:)

Me and Nemo in the Disney Store!

I was walking back to the hotel later and saw a huge crowd of people all looking up at the New York Times building. I looked up and saw a guy scaling the outside of the building like Spiderman! It was so crazy.....I kinda missed getting the guy on the building! It was in the papers the next day though. 2 guys did it that day!

We went to Juniors and my mom got a "side" of broccoli! It was so huge.........

It was sometime after midnight and we were walking through Times Square. This guy was just standing there with a huge snake around his neck. He scared my aunt half to death! I got my picture with him, but I still have no idea what in the world he was doing just standing there!! Crazy people out there, I guess!

In the M & M store. My mom felt the need to take the picture crooked:)

I took about a million pictures in the American Girl Store because I promised Aimee I would! (okay...the truth is that I just love that store:) It really is the coolest store ever!!

Leaving our hotel in our black limo for the airport:( We all had a wonderful time and I am so glad that my mom let me be part of her special trip! Love you, Mom!
