VISITING THE HORSE!

A few weeks ago, the girls and I went to hang out with my friend Sharon and her two little girls, Rose and Rebecca! Their great grandparents have a horse, so we went to see it! Chloe was so cute climbing the fence! They loved the horse...and Aimee even touched it (which was no small miracle!). I am so glad that the girls have friends their age to play with and visit!

The girls had so much fun playing with all of Aunt Susan's puppies:) They love them....until they all jump at once!







Chloe was especially tired once we got home....she wouldn't wake up for anything! Kids really can sleep anywhere, can't they?!

AIMEE THE LION

My parents bought a lion costume at the second hand store, and Aimee loves it! She put it on and didn't want to take it off! She even wore it outside in spite of the heat! So cute...

OUR BEAUTIFUL SKY:)

Just had to throw a couple shots in of the sunset about a month ago! I glanced out the window and it looked so awesome that I opened the window and snapped a couple shots!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

The theme for VBS this year was "Rescue Zone"! We love Vacation Bible School! Anson was in charge of it again this year and I taught the grades 1-2 class again. We had so much fun and so many kids were saved this year. We are already looking forward to VBS next year!

HAPPY CANADA DAY

Way back on Canada Day we went to Centre Island in Toronto with the girls and Matt and Crispy! We had so much fun together!

Aimee loved all the little rides that they had there!

They had a kiddie pool so the girls went for a swim (even thought the water was FREEZING!)

Chloe & I sat and watched Daddy and Aimee ride the swans. Chloe loved the ducks in the pond and even threw her sippy cup to them! A nice lady with long legs got it out for us:)

I have a picture of me on this exact same ride when I was a kid! Aimee loved it...she didn't scream or anything! Just laughed at the end!!

We had a great time taking some pictures and then eating at Lone Star before heading home! I love the picture of the reflection of the CN Tower in the building...I was really excited about that shot:)

CANADA'S WONDERLAND

Eric, Melissa, Anson & I went to Wonderland and had a great time! We didn't take very many pictures since no one wanted to carry the camera around all day...and you can't really take pictures on the rides, anyhow!

OUR EYES

Aimee and I spent some time trying to take pictures of our eyes! It was fun...although my eye looks a bit creepy...especially with all the puffiness & redness in it!

THE DEATH OF THE BEAN BAG CHAIR

My sister gave the girls a couple of her old bean bag chairs...which was great until the girls discovered that if you unzip the chair, you can take the "beans" out! I went out for a bit one night and when I came home the girls had pulled all the beans out. It was perfect timing because Anson conveniently had to leave, so I spent over an hour cleaning them up (without Anson!!)! I tried picking them up but they kind of stick to your hands and won't come off! So I thought I'd vacuum them up, but then discovered we were out of bags for the vacuum! It took awhile, but I think I got most of them up (although I still find them in odd places occasionally)!!

A TYPICAL MOMENT

Aimee likes to carry Chloe around! I caught her outside at church awhile ago picking Chloe up. It always starts out okay and ends up like the second picture...with Chloe screaming at Aimee!!
