MICHIGAN TRIP

I CAN'T DO THIS! Alyssa...how do you keep up your blog! Seriously...this post is almost 2 months late! I am determined to get better at this...so here goes:)

Way back in June, my mom, gram, sister and I went to Michigan for a few days to go wedding shopping for my sister! We had so much fun and I took a billion pictures!! Of course, anything to do with the wedding I AM NOT ALLOWED TO POST! So...here we go! I will try to tell you what the pics are all about....

So, my sister was very excited as we started our trip late Monday night! Love her face:)

The restaurant that we ate at TWICE in Lapeer....you got so much food! We each even got our own loaf of bread! How great is that?!! It was very exciting...:)

Grams got something on her shirt so mom whipped out her ever present Tide-to-Go pen and helped Grams out! Mom even sang the song from the commercial..."Nah, nah, nah, nah...nah, nah, nah, nah..hey, heyyyy...good bye!" (ok...maybe you had to be there!)


My dear sister knocked over her chocolate malt...oh my! It was really funny at the time:)


So, the next day we went to Taco Bell for lunch and this is what I found in my lunch...an expiry date....luckily for them, I was in a really good mood and found it hilarious!!



We spent a REALLY long time at Joanne Fabrics getting all kinds of stuff for the flower girls and other stuff. My sister and I starting going a little crazy! I found a tutu hanging up so I thought I'd try it on and then twirl a bit! We were having a fabulous time until we saw a saleslady watching us:) Then we couldn't stop laughing...the lady went and told Grams to stay away from us:)


We went to Steve and Barry's and all bought shirts that say stuff! (It was my mom's idea!) Gram's shirt says, "I'm too pretty to work!" Cab's says, "Will work 4 shoes!" Mom's says, "High Maintenance!" and mine says, "Made in Michigan!"


This is just a flower at the Lipka's house! Just thought it was pretty...! The best pictures I have are of my sister's beautiful ring, but I'm not allowed to post them (she has this thing about showing pictures of her ring...it's just not as good as it is in person!)


Me climbing a tree...it was a bit difficult to get down! My sister was supposed to catch me...but she didn't do a very good job!


On the way home we stopped at an exit to see Susan and Nic who were headed the other direction. It was great to see them...but it was especially great to see Jocelyn.

AIMEE TURNS 4...CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!

Well, here I am, finally uploading some pictures of Aimee's birthday which was only a month ago! Yes, I am seriously behind here!! Anyhow, for her birthday we went to Build a Bear where she "built" a bunny! Then we went to Chuck E Cheese! Here are a few pictures...I love the one of her and Chloe! It's a typical picture of Aimee forcing Chloe to sit with her...Aimee's all happy and Chloe is yelling at her:) Makes me laugh!! But they do love each other....Anyhow, I can't believe that our little girl is 4 now. She is so grown up and is DYING to go to school. She asks ALL the time if she can go! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIMES!

ANSON'S ORDINATION

On June 10th, Anson was ordained at our church in the evening service! It was very exciting...I am so proud of him!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANSON!

Anson's 28th Birthday was on the 7th, so we went to Toronto on Saturday with Eric & Melissa to celebrate! We ate at the top of the CN Tower and it was delicious! We walked around a lot afterwards and had a great time together!

SILLY AIMEE & GRAMMA

We went out for Anson's birthday last week with my parents and we snapped a couple of pictures (none of Anson though!). Aimee always loves to make faces at the last second when you are trying to take a nice picture...so, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em! Gramma made a face with Aimee, too!

THE NEW SPARKLES

A few weeks ago, Aimee's Beta fish, Sparkles, died a sad death. He was flushed and went to visit all the other fish out there in fishy Heaven! Aimee told Mr. Channon (who bought her the fish) that Sparkles died, so last week he came over with a new one for her! She was so excited and asked if she could name him Sparkles, too!! So here is the new and greatly improved Sparkles:)

JULIE AND CHRIS' WEDDING

Saturday marked wedding #3 of the summer! It was a beautiful outdoor wedding...I really enjoyed that it was different! Congrats, Julie & Chris!

BROOKLIN SPRING FAIR

On Saturday we went to the Brooklin Spring Fair and watched the parade! Aimee thought it was fabulous to get treats from all the people walking in the parade and Chloe waved to EVERYONE!!

CHLOE'S NEW TRICK...

Chloe discovered how much fun it is to open and close the back door over and over....it's like her new form of peek-a-boo or something!

PARK AND POOL TIME!

It is finally warm enough for the girls to go swimming....IF i carry many buckets of hot water from inside to add to the cold water from the hose:) After swimming Aimee always asks if they can have a picnic! Chloe loves the pool and even puts her face in the water...she can be really brave! I love to watch them play together...it is so sweet! They especially love to go play at the park! Chloe and Aimee both love the slides and climb up together and go down...Chloe usually flies right off the bottom of the slide and she just laughs and laughs!
